Man, I am the first poster. Hopefully more come. Anyway I am an Illustrator/designer with a graphic and signage business and starting to do digitizing work for an embroider and this is great for me to be able to use Illustrator and that is a bonus especially on a mac but mac and pc is the same in Illustrator nowdays. The only issue I have seem to have had is in 3D view it is not an exact rep of the output. The embroider opens it up in Wilcom ES65 and you can see it don't show a few jump stictthes I missed and it stitches the same from the dst file. But, I know this software is fairly new so I bet they will fix that 3D view. Anyway this seems like a real nice package that is why I would like to see if there are any other users out there to give me your input. I just don't want to invest months or year or so of lease payments and it gets stopped because of lack of interest. Personally I think this is the future of embroidery software (way easier that the Wilcom I tried). The big draw back is the online only version. I wish and hope if others back me up is the online only is great when I am leasing but if I decide to buy the full package I would like to have the system only on my mac/pc with a dongle so it is not restricted to the web only. Anyway so far I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. Please let me see others input. www.fueltechgraphics.com

Three getting started videos have been added to the Embroidery i² Community in the forum i² Training and Documentation Forum. Here is a link to the forum:

Your Embroidery i² user name and password is required to access this forum. The videos give you an introduction to the Embroidery i² workspace, walk you through how to log in to the Embroidery i2 server and show how Recipes can be used to quickly apply embroidery settings based on a fabric type.

Tip 1 Viewing designs and Resizing designs

If you goto the Window Tab at the top of the screen and browse down to Navigator this is a tool of Adobe Illustrator that allows you to see the design in 3D it makes it clear to see the stitches your working on. In addition it allows you to zoom in with the slide ruler option. If you would like to see a picture of this goto to the Gallery on this website..

Here are the system requirements for Embroidery i-squared

Windows XP, Windows Vista or Intel based Macs*

Adobe Illustrator CS3

A high speed internet connection

Please consult your Adobe CS3 documentation for requirements for Adobe CS3,

*To determine if Mac computer is Intel based, click on the Apple icon on your menu and select About This Mac. Next click the More Info button. The processor name is listed under the Hardware category. If the processor name starts with Intel, then your computer is an Intel based Mac.
